What we collect, and why

SEO Vibes has no user accounts, no login, and no database of visitors. We measure traffic and how the site performs using tools described under “Measurement and cookies” below. Beyond that, the only information we handle is what you deliberately hand us — a URL you ask the scanner to check, or an email you choose to send us — plus the ordinary technical request data any web server receives. Each of those is described below.

The free scanner

When you submit a public URL to the scanner, our server fetches that page and runs a set of deterministic technical checks so it can show you the result. Two things are worth being explicit about:

• Submitting a URL causes the SEO Vibes server to make a request to the address you entered — much as a search engine crawler would. Only submit pages you are comfortable having fetched.
• By default, the URL you submit and the findings we return are processed transiently to produce your result. The scanner has no database and no persistence layer, so simply running a scan saves nothing — submissions are not stored, sold, or shared.
• After a scan, you can optionally ask us to email you the results — this is never required to see them. If you opt in, your email address, the URL you scanned, and the findings are sent to us through our email-delivery provider so we can send your results and follow up about them, the same way the contact form works. Leave the field blank and nothing is sent or kept.

Contact and email

When you use the contact form, the details you enter are sent to our server and delivered to us as an email through our email-delivery provider, so we can read your message and reply. We use them for that one purpose. They arrive in our mailbox the way any correspondence would; the site keeps no form database, and nothing you send is fed into analytics, advertising, or a marketing list. You can also email us directly instead — either way, we receive only what you choose to send.

Server and hosting logs

Like almost any website, the infrastructure that serves these pages may process standard request data — such as IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, and timestamps — transiently at the hosting layer to operate the service and keep it secure. This is ordinary, general-purpose logging rather than a profile of you, and we do not combine it with tracking or use it to identify individual visitors.

Measurement and cookies

We measure how this site is used so we can understand traffic, improve the pages, and see whether forms and tools work. Two separate tools are involved:

• Host analytics (Vercel). Our host provides a privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics service. It records anonymous, aggregate data — such as which pages are viewed, the referring site, an approximate location (country, region, or city), and the operating system, browser, and device type. It uses no cookies and stores no identifier in your browser; a visit is counted from a rotating hash of the request that cannot be tied to you and is discarded within 24 hours. We also record a small number of anonymous, aggregate events — for example, that a contact message was submitted — with no form contents, email address, or other identifiers attached. This tool does not track you across other websites.
• Google Tag Manager. We load Google’s Tag Manager container on every page of this site. GTM is a delivery mechanism: through it we can run analytics or other measurement tags that we configure. Those tags may set cookies or similar identifiers on your device, and may send technical data about your visit — such as page URL, referrer, browser and device information, and an IP address as processed by the provider — to Google and to any other services those tags use. What is collected depends on the tags active in the container at the time. We use this to measure site performance and marketing effectiveness; we do not sell your information.

We do not operate user accounts or a visitor profile database of our own. Browser controls (blocking third-party scripts or clearing cookies) can limit what measurement tools receive. Whether a consent mechanism is required in your region depends on law and on the tools in use; this page describes practice, not a formal legal determination.

Third parties

We keep outside parties to a minimum:

• The page you scan. When you use the scanner, our server contacts the URL you provide. That destination is chosen by you, and its own operator decides how it handles the incoming request.
• Our hosting provider. The company that hosts this site necessarily processes the requests needed to deliver the pages (see server logs above), and also provides the cookieless, aggregate analytics described above — in both cases acting on our behalf to run and measure the service.
• Google. Google Tag Manager loads from Google’s servers on every page. Tags we configure through that container may send data to Google and to any other vendors those tags call. Google’s handling of that data is governed by Google’s own terms and privacy documentation for the products involved.
• Our email-delivery provider. When you submit the contact form, a third-party email service transmits your message to our mailbox on our behalf. It handles the message only to deliver it and is not used to profile you.

Fonts are served from this site itself, so viewing a page does not trigger a request to a third-party font service. We do not sell or rent any information to anyone.

Data retention

We keep no database of what you submit through the site. Scanner submissions are processed in the moment and discarded — unless you opt to have your results emailed to you, in which case they reach us as ordinary email. Either way there is no submission database to retain. Host analytics data is aggregate and anonymous, and the short-lived hash used to count a visit is discarded within 24 hours. Data processed by Google Tag Manager and any tags behind it is retained according to those products' settings and Google's (or the tag vendor's) practices — not in a database we operate on this site. Email you send us is kept in our mailbox only as long as it is useful for correspondence, consistent with how ordinary email is handled.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information a business holds about you. We maintain no account for you and store nothing from the scanner by default. The main personal data we might hold ourselves is an email you have sent us — which you can ask us to delete at any time. Measurement tools may process data as described above; you can also limit third-party scripts in your browser. Children

This site is intended for a professional, business audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International visitors

SEO Vibes can be reached from anywhere, and the servers that deliver it, or the mailbox that receives your email, may be located in a different country from you. By using the site or emailing us, you understand that the limited data described here may be handled in another jurisdiction. We are still confirming which specific regional privacy regimes apply and will update this page as that is settled.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes or as we complete legal review. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of the page. Material changes will be reflected here rather than announced individually, since we have no mailing list to notify.
